Future Publications from the Seasoned Sistahs

"Knowing What you Want and Getting it After 50", the new book in the Seasoned Sistahs series will be published in 2007. It is designed for the mature woman, that seasoned Sistah, and yes it's a great read for younger Sistahs too. This book is sure to be as popular as "Life's Spices From Seasoned Sistahs, A Collection of Life Stories from Mature Women of Color," winner of the ForeWord Magazine Book of the Year Award, the Los Angeles Black Book Expo Best Anthology, and an Honorable Mention from the Independent Publishers Association.

If you are a sistah 50 and over you're encouraged to complete the survey designed just for you. Women From the Age of Aquarius have matured, creating different visions, and paths for the over-fifty aged Sistah. She is pursuing life in her later years in new and different ways than those of prior generations. The results of this survey will be published, giving you an opportunity to let the world know what it's like to experience life on your terms.

"Breast Cancer Stories from Women of Color" will be published in 2008. This book will chronicle the lives of sistahs, women of color specifically who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and tell of living through their personal crisis from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. This book will provide another tool to assist in the healing and understanding for all women who will endure this disease, and for their loved ones walking with them.

Will there be different guidelines for different books?

"More of Life's Spices...Seasoned Sistahs Still Keepin' It Real", a follow-up to the wildly successful first book will include more personal essays from Sistahs, chronicling the life experiences that have strengthened them, provided growth, helped them bond with other sistahs, assisted in building their families, and more. Again, the Sistahs will be just keepin' it real.
